Sanger High School

Alisha Sandoval has been a Guidance and Learning Specialist at Sanger High School since November of 2006. Mrs. Sandoval graduated from Sanger High School in 1997 and is a proud Apache. She received her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and Master’s of Science degree in Educational Counseling Student Services, and Pupil Personnel Services credential from Fresno State. Mrs. Sandoval’s current caseload is the class of 2018 last name A-L. Mrs. Sandoval’s duties include: SAT/ACT coordinator, Sanger High Registration, School Site Council, and Junior Parent Night.

Daniel T. Palomo is a high school graduate of Woodlake High School. He attended Fresno Pacific University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Special Education. Mr. Palomo then attended National University and graduated with a Master's Degree in Educational Counseling along with his PPS credential. Mr. Palomo's caseload consists of the class of 2018. He is also in charge of College Night for 12th graders, Boys and Girls State for 11th graders, 10th grade career counseling, and the ASVAB test.

Mr. Palomo also assists other counselors with Students of Character, Career Cruising for 9th graders, PSAT presentations, and SAT presentations.

Fuechi Lor has been a Guidance Learning Specialist at Sanger High School since February 2015. He graduate from Bullard High School in 2007, received his Bachelor's Degree in Child Development, and received his Master's Degree in Student Affairs and College Counseling, and PPS Credential. Mr. Lor currently works with Sanger High Seniors, which he enjoys. Other duties that Mr. Lor oversees include being the PSAT coordinator, College Night, and College and Career Fair.

Mrs. Urbieta has been a Guidance Learning Specialist at Sanger High School since August 2011. She graduated from Selma High School in 1998 She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies and Master's Degree in Education Counseling and Student Services along with her PPS credential from California State University of Fresno. Mrs. Urbieta Currently serves 9th grade students. Other duties include NCAA Clearing house, Apaches Pathway to Sucess (APS), 4.0 and Above program, Academic Scholars and AP Co-Coordinator.

Rosie Gonzalez has been a Guidance Learning Specialist at Sanger High School since 2005.  She graduated from Orosi High School, and she received her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Fresno State and received her Master's degree in Education Counseling and Student Services from Fresno State.  Mrs. Gonzalez currently works with sophomore students.  Other duties that Mrs. Gonzalez oversees include Scholarships, Scholarship Awards Night, ELC, Block S, and ELAC.

Sherry Satterberg has been a Guidance Learning Specialist at Sanger High since August of 2014. She began working for Sanger Unified in 1992 and has worked at the elementary, middle school and high school level. She graduated from McLane High School in Fresno, received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Master’s Degree in Counseling, Pupil Personnel Servies Credential and Administrative Credential from Fresno State. Miss Satterberg currently works with seniors, last names A-L. She also oversees the Master Schedule, Course of Study Handbook and Powerschool.

TJ Wilson has been a Guidance Learning Specialist since 2016. He graduated from Clovis East High School in 2006, received his Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and Master's degree in K-12 School Counseling along with a PPS credential from California State University, Fresno. Mr. Wilson currently serves 9th grade students with last names starting M-Z. Other duties include coordinating Naviance Career Readiness, College/ Career fair, Upward Bound and Link Crew.

Vong Moua has been a Guidance Learning Specialist at Sanger High School since August of 2007. He graduated from Merced High School in 1992, received his Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and a minor in Psychology from Humboldt State University, and gained his Master’s in Education Counseling and Student Services at California State University, Fresno. Mr. Moua currently works with sophomore through senior students. Other duties that Mr. Moua oversees include Master Schedule, College Reps, Reg-to-Go, and AP Testing Coordinator.
