Color Guard
In the US military and other similar organizations like the JROTC, the Color guard carries the National Color and other flags appropriate to its position in the chain of command. Typically these include U.S. Navy flag. In addition to the flag bearers, who are positioned in the center of the Color guard formation, there are two individuals who carry rifles on the left and right shoulder. The Color Guard Team members are hand selected by the Senior Naval Science Instructor based on nominated by the Drill Team Commander. This unique and highly skilled group of cadets will perform at Sanger HS home football games, march in parades, and render honors during many volunteer and community events throughout Kings and surrounding counties.
