(Anchor) The Sanger High Kitchen is preparing Thai Chicken with Rice, Turkey Ciabatta Sandwiches, Fiesta Bean & Cheese Burritos, and Chef Salads with Rolls for your lunch options today.
(Lead Anchor) In sports today the Varsity Boys Golf team plays Kingsburg at Kingsburg from 2 to 4 PM. The JV and Varsity Boys Tennis teams play Madera at Madera from 3 to 5 PM. The Varsity Girls Lacrosse team plays Roosevelt at Roosevelt from 3 to 5 PM. The Freshman, JV, and Varsity Boys Volleyball teams play Clovis at Sanger High from 3:30 to 8 PM. The Freshman Baseball team plays Madera South from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. The JV and Varsity Softball teams play Mission Oak at Mission Oak from 4:30 to 6:30 PM.
(Anchor) (Show Ceramics Graphic) Any student NOT ENROLLED in Ceramics 1 this year, but would like to enroll for the 2020-21 school year MUST go to room 1103, the ceramics room and sign up. You have until March 17 to sign up. Some of the possible assignments include actual clocks, table water fountains, containers and pottery made on the wheel. This is only one example mentioned. (Lead Anchor) Apache Theatre is proud to present Disney's Frozen, Jr. This year there will be 6 evening performances and 2 Saturday matinees. Performances will run March 12, 13, 14, 19, 20 & 21. Matinees will begin at 2pm with evening performances at 7:30pm. Tickets are $7 for students and &10 for adults. Pre-sale tickets are available now in the student center. (run through 3/19)
(Anchor) The Foundation for Sanger Schools has extended its deadline for the Foundation Senior Scholarship. The new deadline is tomorrow by 12:00pm. The application link is on the Sanger High School website under the scholarship link. They are awarding two $1,500, two $2,500, one $3,500 and two $5,000 scholarships. (run through 3/13)
(Lead Anchor) As coronavirus concerns continue to be at the forefront of our communities, it is important that we take steps to encourage healthy habits. Sanger Unified will continue to follow the recommendations of the California Department of Public Health and we continue to work closely with the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools and the Fresno County Department of Public Health in response to this concern.
