(Lead Anchor) And these are your Apache Notes for Wednesday, January 22nd, 2020.  

(Anchor)  The Sanger High Kitchen is preparing Turkey Gravy over Mashed
Potatoes, Ham & Cheese on Croissants, Taco Salads, and Cheesy Bread Sticks for your lunch options today.

(Lead Anchor)  In sports today the JV and Varsity Girls Soccer teams play Madera at Madera High School from 3 to 7 PM.  The Freshman Boys Soccer team plays Madera South at the Sanger High School Field from 3 to 5 PM.  The Freshman, JV, and Varsity Girls Basketball teams play Madera at Madera High School from 3:30 to 8:30 PM.  The Varsity Girls Wrestling team wrestles Edison in the Small Gym from 5:30 to 8:30PM.

(Anchor) For anyone interested in learning how to dive Mrs. Vig is holding a dive meeting on Thursday after school at the pool.  Come out for dive and learn flips, twists, pikes, and dives.  (run through 1/23)

(Lead Anchor)  Spanish Honor Society Applications are due today.  If you did not apply first semester or if you have any questions you can come by and pick-up your application in room 1202.  (run through 1/22)

(Anchor)  CSF applications are ready to be picked up in rooms 106 and 328. Students will need to get their applications signed off at break, lunch, or after school in room 106 by today at 3:30 pm. After they get their applications approved, they will need to pay the $5.00 application fee to the student center.  (run through 1/22)

(Lead Anchor)  Wolflakes is accepting seasonal job applications.  Students must be 16 and older with a work permit.  Applications are being accepted through January 25th only.  You must log on to and apply online.  (run through 1/25)

(Anchor)  Calling all Sanger High school students, the California Health Collaborative invites all students to the 4th annual 2020 Fresno County Youth Summit, occurring Saturday, February 1st at Reedley College. Bus transportation will be provided. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, along with lots of free giveaways! The day will be filled with fun, interactive workshops about topics that are affecting you today, such as emergency first aid, vaping, healthy relationships, online safety, driver safety, and much more. Take this opportunity to become empowered to make a difference and become the future leader you are meant to be. Get your permission slip from Ms. Parks in room 206, as you will need this to be on the bus for the event. Please submit your signed permission slip to Ms. Parks by Wednesday, January 29, 2020.  (run through 1/29)

(Lead Anchor)  There will be a HOPE Sanger Club meeting today at 12:55 during lunch in room 1103. Please be prompt. Please bring in the fundraiser receipts.
